About me
Throughout my life and through different professional pursuits, my passion has remained the same: I want to be a resource for people in need and to give them the tools to thrive on their own. As a youth pastor, I was able to help students navigate a difficult transitional time in their lives, as well as teach them the importance of giving back to their communities. I consider it one of my greatest achievements to see many of those same students continue to serve in their communities today. As a tutor, I have been able to teach students the skills and academic habits to thrive throughout their education and help them develop their own love for learning. Now as an editor, I’m able to invest my communication skills directly into the projects of passionate authors.
I created Erasmus Editorial to be a resource for authors by giving them the tools to clearly communicate with their audience. My background in pastoral ministry and education in history have enabled me to identify the relevant, teachable elements in many topics and tailor a message for any audience.
I’ve also quickly become immersed in the Canadian editing community; I attended the Editors Canada Conference in May 2022 and served as the Volunteer Coordinator and Member Services chair for Editors BC from 2022 to 2024.
